How do I customize a DQ® cake in the app?

Custom DQ Cakes are not available on the DQ app. To customize a cake, click on “Create a showstopper” above.

We recommend reaching out to your local store for the most accurate ingredient information as many of our DQ® cakes are made in store.

How can I edit my submitted cake order?

To modify your cake order, including pickup date and time, please contact the store directly.

Are your DQ® cakes gluten free?

The chocolate cookie crunch and cone coating in the center of our cakes contain gluten. Also, many of the cake decorations (including icings, gels, or sprinkles) may contain gluten. Your local store may be able to make you a custom order cake by omitting the chocolate cookie crunch and cone coating from the center. Please check with your local DQ restaurant to see if they can accommodate a gluten-free request. Note there is always a chance of cross contact with gluten in any DQ product.

Are your DQ® Blizzard® Cakes gluten free?

Many of our Blizzard candies and toppings contain wheat, rye, oats, and/or barley that are not safe for gluten intolerance. Reese's® Peanut Butter Cups and Skor® can be used in making a custom order Blizzard Cake without the chocolate cookie crunch and cone coating. Please note there is always a chance of cross contact with gluten in any DQ product. For your safety, we recommend notifying the staff at the DQ location of your allergy or intolerance before placing your order, and request they thoroughly clean the Blizzard machine before blending the Blizzard for your Blizzard Cake to reduce the risk of cross-contact.
